How do I pause or reactivate a QR code?

If you're using Dynamic QR codes, you have the ability to pause and reactivate them at any time. This can be useful if you're temporarily stopping a campaign or want to stay within your plan limits.


Pausing a QR code

To pause a QR code:

  1. Go to the My ConnectQR page.
  2. Find the Dynamic QR code you want to pause.
  3. Click the three-dot menu () on the right side.
  4. Select Pause from the dropdown.

Once paused, the QR code will appear greyed out in your list and will no longer redirect users or register scans.

? Note: Only Dynamic QR codes can be paused. Static QR codes cannot be paused.


Reactivating a paused QR code

To reactivate a QR code:

  1. Go back to the My ConnectQR page.
  2. Find the paused QR code (it will appear greyed out).
  3. Click the three-dot menu ().
  4. Select Activate.

If your plan allows it, the QR code will return to its active state and start working again immediately.

❗ Important: If you've already reached your Dynamic QR code allowance for your plan, you won't be able to activate more codes until you upgrade your plan or pause other active ones.
