If one of your QR codes has been paused, it usually means it exceeded the limits of your ConnectQR plan. Here's what to check and how to get it working again.
1. You reached your plan limit
Each plan includes a maximum number of active Dynamic QR codes. If your usage goes over that limit — for example, if your trial ends or you downgrade to a lower plan — any codes over your new allowance will be automatically paused.
- We pause your most recently created codes first
- Your oldest active codes will remain active (up to your plan limit)
You can unpause QR codes again later if you upgrade your plan or pause others to make space.
2. You paused it manually
If you or someone on your team manually paused the QR code, it will remain inactive until you choose to reactivate it.
Paused QR codes appear greyed out in your My ConnectQR page.
How to reactivate a QR code
To reactivate a QR code:
- Go to your My ConnectQR page
- Find the paused QR code (it will be greyed out)
- Click the three-dot menu and choose Activate
If you’ve reached your plan’s QR code limit, you may need to upgrade or pause another QR code first.
