When you first sign up to ConnectQR, you get a 14-day free trial of our Plus plan. This gives you access to higher limits and premium features — no credit card required.
When your free trial ends, if you haven’t added a payment method, your account will automatically move to our Free Plan.
What changes when my account moves to the Free Plan?
As part of moving to the Free Plan, your feature limits will change. This means you will have a smaller allowance for:
- Dynamic QR Codes
- Short URLs
- Forms
- Connect Pages
What happens to my existing QR Codes, Short URLs, Forms, and Pages?
If you have created more QR Codes, Short URLs, Forms, or Pages than the Free Plan allows, we will automatically pause the newest ones.
This helps ensure that your oldest content — which is usually your most important — stays active.
You can see which items have been paused by visiting your dashboard. If you later decide to upgrade to a paid plan, you will be able to unpause these items — up to the limits of your new plan.
How can I avoid being downgraded?
If you’d like to keep your current allowances and avoid any of your content being paused, you can add a payment method and subscribe to one of our paid plans at any time.

What if I upgrade later?
If you upgrade your account after being downgraded, you will be able to unpause your QR Codes, Short URLs, Forms, and Pages — up to the limits of your new plan.
Your data is never deleted when moving to the Free Plan — it’s just paused and ready to reactivate when you need it.
